Bailey & Sons Master Butchery
We are a family run business, who put our heart & soul into what we do. For over 100 years (formally known as LG Palk butchers), we have been proud to serve the local catering industry our premium produce using only the very best meats from suppliers based in Devon & Cornwall.
We hand make many of our items and only use traditional butchery techniques, giving our meats that rustic feel. All of our steaks are aged in-house for a minimum of 28 days.
We are just a stone’s throw away from Cantina and have a very special relationship. The head Chef Barry is just as passionate about food as we are and we regularly meet up to go through the menu and create some magic together.
Bays Brewery
Bays Brewery began life in 2007 when brothers Mark and Peter Salmon joined forces with their brother-in-law Will Freeland to realise their dream of creating quality beer inspired by their hometown of Torbay.
The brewery prides itself on its awesome team who all share the same passion to produce ‘Devon’s Beers of Choice’ whilst providing an outstanding customer service from its site in Paignton. Their beers have won a string of top national awards to include ‘Champion Beer of Britain’ awards as well as achieving Gold status at the Great Taste Awards, the Taste of the West Awards & the Food & Drink Devon Awards.
Malcolm Luscombe
Overlooking both the River Teign estuary and the rolling Tors of Dartmoor this fabulously fertile land in stokenteignhead produces some of Devon’s finest crops of vegetables.

Hunts Cider
The Hunt Family have been making cider in South Devon since 1805.
Rooted deep in the South Devon countryside, Hunts Cider are a Devon Cider maker with a long tradition and heritage, stretching back over 200 years. We use the highest quality Devon cider apples, fermenting fresh bitter-sweet apple juice each Autumn.
We can still be found in Stoke Gabriel today and still use the orchards that have nestled in this area for more than 200 years.
Wright Brothers
Our fish supplier, Wright Brothers, are a quality-led, seafood specialist, who put the needs of their customers first. Having access to the world famous Brixham Fish Market allows Wright Brothers the ability to source the best seafood the UK shores have to offer and with their expert buyers they can hand-select the finest quality seafood from the Day Boat and Brixham fishing vessel fleet.
Being a responsible supplier is very important to them and having a dedicated team that safeguards the oceans seafood supply for future generation is paramount, they lead the line for encouraging sustainable fishing methods and supplying sustainable fish, which supports customers in making better choices.
Caterfood
Caterfood has a unique relationship with Cantina, working directly with their head Chef, Barry George to secure only the best, and ideally, locally sourced products.
There is nothing “standard” to be found in the Cantina kitchen, and the creative process is constantly ongoing. Barry might be inspired to create a selection of new dishes for their seasonal menu and require an array of new ingredients. It is at this point, Barry will contact our Sales and Purchasing teams to request those foods; but only the best and ideally local versions of these will do – and we will find it for him.
Having a working relationship like the one that exists between Cantina and Caterfood is a perfect example of the ideal symbiotic relationship between a supplier and a restaurant kitchen, when exemplary food and memorable service is the goal of both.
